We are fortunate to be working with the Greater Vancouver Food Bank to continue to get healthy food to those in need in our community.
A tax-deductible donation to the North Shore Neighbourhood House will enable you to make an enormous difference to the well-being of your community.
North Shore Neighbourhood House offers programs and services that make the lives of people 55 years and up, healthier and more meaningful. We provide social and recreational programs designed specifically to meet seniors’ health, wellness and social needs.
Volunteers play a critical role in the services and programs North Shore Neighbourhood House provides. We have over 120 volunteers who have donated thousands of hours of time, sharing their skills and talents to help build a strong community. We’d welcome you to join our team.
Our childcare programs are committed to nurturing and guiding young children. We provide an environment that fosters trust, security and comfort. We strive to offer a balance of activities that help children progress in social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
Youth are valued members of our community and we work to support young people in a variety of ways. Our goal is to provide youth outreach services to our community through our various neighbourhood locations and through partnership with other community service providers.
As an independent, non-profit society, the North Shore Neighbourhood House relies on the committed funding of our government partners and the generosity of local businesses, service clubs and individuals.
Your donation to the House ensures that we can provide quality services and programs at the lowest cost possible or free of charge, providing accessible support to our neighbours who need it most such as isolated seniors and single parents on a tight budget.
