Social Circle
This unique outreach program is for frail and/or isolated seniors living on the North Shore. Our goal is to provide health, wellness and socialization opportunities to help improve quality of life. The group meets once a week for 1.5 hours. Call Karin Weidner at 604-983-6488 for more information.
Peer Support Volunteer Program
A special bond of trust develops between people who are of similar age, values and experiences.
Seniors volunteers are screened and receive thorough training to offer emotional support, resource information and guidance regarding life changes and challenges.
This one-on-one support service is free, confidential, and available in different languages. Potential participants can request service or be referred for it.
We are currently seeking new volunteers. Please visit our volunteering page for more information or contact the Coordinator Lorna Harding at 604-982-8333
