Volunteer Ambassador/Connector for Seniors

What we are looking for:

  • Genuine Interest in Seniors and our diverse community
  • Good Listener and experience with people
  • References and criminal record check will be requested
  • Inclusion of individuals from various cultural backgrounds
  • Ability to participate in training and a 1 year cmmitment is needed

What does an Ambassador do:

  • reaches out to isolated seniors in the community
  • Offers information and referrals to local resources
  • Provides guidance in problem-solving and identification of goals

 

Seniors Peer Support Volunteers
Seniors Peer Support is unique, offering the kind of support that one can only get from others who share similar experiences.  Connect with your peers in this new revised training series guided by trainers from Seniors Peer Counselling of British Columbia. Enjoy learning and sharing in a warm supportive atmosphere.
