Volunteer Bus Drivers
Our Seniors’ program needs volunteers to drive our 18 passenger bus for daytrips. Drivers must have a valid BC Class 4 driver’s license. The outings are between 5 to 7 hours and run 3 to 4 times a month. The trips go to a wide variety of event throughout Vancouver. We ask that volunteers commit to 1 trip per month and we provide you with free admission to the event.
If you have a valid Class 4 license, enjoy the company of seniors and have a sense of adventure, we have the volunteer position for you.
Learning Together Childcare Centre
Our daycare, located on site at Sutherland Secondary, needs help with lunch preparation and clean up. If you have a food safe certificate, enjoy food preparation and like being around children, we need you.
Seniors Peer Support Volunteers
Seniors Peer Support is unique, offering the kind of support that one can only get from others who share similar experiences. Connect with your peers in this new revised training series guided by trainers from Seniors Peer Counselling of British Columbia. Enjoy learning and sharing in a warm supportive atmosphere.
