Family Events

Santa Breakfast and the Easter Bunny Brunch are just two of the many events we hold throughout the year to celebrate, gather and enjoy the company of friends, neighbours and the community at the House. Check our home page regularly under
“What’s New” for upcoming events.

Grandparent Connections

The Grandparent Connections Program was created to support grandparents who are caring for their grandchildren under 6 years old. Grandparents have unique challenges as primary care givers. The House provides a gathering place for grandparents to meet, discuss issues, find support and find out about resources to assist them in looking after their young grandchildren. Contact Carol Lundrigan 604-998-0172 or 604-987-8138 for more information.

Sweet Peas

Are you a mother with a child 6 months to 6 years old, who is struggling to make ends meet? You are not alone. This program promotes a healthy lifestyle through learning how to cook nutritious meals on a tight budget, sharing valuable information and having fun with other parents and kids. Contact Maya at 604-961-7139 for more information.

Parent Community Developer Project

Are you a parent of a child 0-6 years old? Parent Community Developers are available to work with parents to “give them a voice” and help them to access important community resources. PCDs are available by pager.
