Partnerships

line

The North Shore Neighbourhood House is proud to work collaboratively with numerous local agencies and organizations to meet the needs of North Shore residents.

Our goal for these partnerships is to benefit our neighbours of all ages by sharing resources and supporting and building on each other’s strengths, providing a model for how strong communities are built.

Some of these partnerships include:

The John Braithwaite Community Centre, established five years ago as a result of our partnership with the City of North Vancouver and the North Vancouver Recreation Commission.

The Queen Mary Development Project and Learning Together in partnership with School District #44.

The Lower Lonsdale Community Garden in partnership with the Community Garden Society and the City of North Vancouver.

Community Resident Engagement Workers (CREW) at Grant McNeil Housing Development in partnership with BC Housing and the City of North Vancouver.

Youth Leadership – an innovative partnership between Creative Tool Box (Jeff Willis), our staff at JBCC and the youth of North Vancouver.

Welcoming Neighbourhoods – a collaboration between all Lower Mainland Neighbourhood Houses, the Ministry of the Attorney General (Settlement and Multiculturalism Division) and the North Shore Multicultural Society.

We also work closely with Vancouver Coastal Health in many of our seniors programs.
